JAMCO History

JAMCO has a long 45 years old history as one of the largest turn-key supply companies in the Middle-East. In 1994, JAMCO was incorporated in the United States. Mr. Medici has worked diligently over the last six years to develop the product solutions, including concept development, project design, implementation and management.

Jean-Aimé Medici found that countries including political and private businesses were coming to him to elicit help in not only solving the problems of regional healthcare, but to provide a more comprehensive solution to the humanitarian and technology challenges that these countries were facing. Mr. Medici immediately recognized the significance of creating a complete solution for these countries with technology being the catalyst to the creation of a 21st century infrastructure within these countries.

During the past six years Mr. Medici's key focus was the development of a turnkey 10 - 50 bed healthcare facility, which is in line with the World Health Organization's guidelines for emerging nation needs and requirements. This product is a unique concept, developed for the emerging nations market place. It is such a critical product because it has the ability to dramatically impact the way health care is delivered in these countries, to areas that have gone without in the past. This concept is truly a pioneering one, which has not been done by any other company either domestic or international to date.

JAMCO Medical Inc. has created a complete turnkey data base which includes everything that is needed inside of any hospital room, from electric plugs to surgical equipment including the type, size, gage and number of needles needed for any specific surgery. JAMCO has not only improved the entire operational aspect of a true turnkey hospital facility, but also has streamlined the actual building process to an average of 90.

Jean-Aimé was first exposed to the concept of "turnkey” when he was a boy by the work that his

Dr. Jean Medici

father, Dr. Jean Medici, Sr. was doing. Dr. Medici, Sr. started one of the first companies in Europe that did "turn key" hospital departments, which provided design, construction, specialty medical equipment and supplies.

Dr. Medici Sr.'s accomplishments included:

  • Fully equipping the hospital of King Faisal in Saudi Arabia.
  • Installed several full telemetry cardiac centers in the Middle East.
  • Installed full open-heart surgery theatres using the most advanced American technology.
  • Supplied Pacemakers (French, German & American) invasive and non-invasive for Middle East and Arabic countries.
  • Marketed private label equipment including, surgical tools, and discartables used in a hospital and clinic environment.

Greatly inspired by his father's work, Jean-Aimé adopted the name of JAMCO Medical, Inc., in honor of his fathers company, which was called JAMCO International.
